The Book or the Movie?

Am I the only one who cringes just a little when I go to read a great book and the kids say, "I've already seen the movie!"?  There's just something about building a whole world in your mind from reading a book.  You use the descriptions to make your own little universe and the characters are uniquely yours.  I'll never forget the first time I saw Harry Potter.  The characters were all just as I pictured them.  I think that's why I love the movies so much.  I have never been crazy about the movie Polar Express.  The magic of the story could never compare to what I saw on the screen. This week, I'm going to tackle The Hunger Games before I see the movie.

So here's my latest prompt!  Enjoy!

I am a book gal all of the way! I have a hard time seeing a movie after I read a book I love. I have only seen one of the Narnia movies and it did not compare to how much I loved the book.

I am your newest follower and love the name of your blog. I share a lot on my blog about how God uses us in the lives of the kiddos we teach and how He put each child in our classroom for a reason. =)

I would love for you to visit me when you get the chance.

I love this! I found it on Pinterest, and it's perfect for the persuasive writing I'll need to add to my writing unit. Thanks for sharing!
